Experience

With nearly two decades of experience working at institutions of higher education, I have decided to focus on my strengths and my favorite aspect of university of life: helping students manage the trials and triumphs of university. Most recently, I held the role of Administrative Director at the University of Pennsylvania’s Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology (also known as the Fisher Program or the M&T Program). As Administrative Director, I advised students admission to graduation as they pursued two degrees at once: a business degree from the Wharton School and an engineering degree from Penn Engineering. Prior to working for the M&T Program, I was an Overseas Program Manager at Penn Abroad where I supervised Penn students studying abroad and exchange students studying at Penn. During my long career at Penn, I impacted the lives of over a thousand students and cultivated a robust network of colleagues across the university. In 2006, I took a leave of absence to work as an International Student Advisor at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Education

I completed my Masters in Education in Intercultural Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. I earned a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Political Science and Psychology at Gettysburg College. While studying at Gettysburg College, I was a varsity swimmer and studied abroad at the University of Adelaide in Australia.

Passion

I am so grateful for the time I get to spend with my young family; watching my daughters discover the world is a delight. In my spare time, I enjoy making connections between friends and family with similar interests or introducing those in my life to books, movies, podcasts, and series they may enjoy.
